Why do people have it in for this girl? The only thing I've heard her say is that SHE is not the hero - the soldiers in Iraq are the real heroes. I haven't heard anything self-aggrandizing come out of her - it's all been the media acting like a bunch of retards.

She gets captured, gets her legs broke, possibly raped, rescued and returned home, media spins the story and she gets a book deal - and somehow that makes her a terrible person?

This is not Russell Yates or those Smart parents - she hasn't actively sought publicity or misrepresented her capture and rescue.

Why is this her fault?

It's my understanding that she didn't "pose" for them. They're pics of her frolicking around with some other soldiers in Iraq before they got captured. No idea what the circumstances were - it's possible that they all stripped down because of chemical exposure - could be she was "entertaining" the troops - who knows?

I don't see how Larry Flynt can use her image to make money without her permission. Go print up t-shirts with Jennifer Aniston's pic on them, sell a few, and see how fast you get sued for infringment.

I've really gained respect for her now that she is telling everyone that she isn't a hero and doesn't deserve all the attention she is getting. A little late, but better than never.

Actually, there's been some reading between the lines.
It's not a "woman" thing at all.
It's just that men don't have to worry as much because there's just not as much demand for male nudity.
The female form is beautiful; the male form is kind of odd looking, IMHO.

That's because men are immature. 80 year old codgers still want to see some 18 year old's boobies. Once women get to the point that they have REAL sex lives, looking at pictures of weenies doesn't excite them so much.

I would be willing to bet that the pictures were taken while the ladies were washing up at their outdoors facilities by some of the low-lifes that end up in the service. They probably used telephoto lenses and shot from a roof top or through a hole in a tarp.

Until anyone sees them I doubt if it could be considered as posing.

The news guys (if you can believe anything they say) said that the pics were taken during R&R. One of the low lifes she was frolicking with took the photos and now wants them made public to show people she's not such a goody-goody after all. :duh:

Whatever the story, by all accounts these are action shots and not posed. She apparently didn't even realize her pic was being taken.
