Nah. The solution they use is formaldehyde. Just means they have to have sufficient ventilation when they do the process, and take some safety precautions. More dangerous to the technician who does repeated applications than the client.

I've been taking prenatal vitamins for the past month and have had the same result with my eyelashes. (Generic brand from Giant or Food Lion)

My fingernails also are stronger and I have to clip them every week.
