And I had no idea you were you!
I was expecting a bumby violent ride, but surprisingly this thing feels like a caddilac (maybe it's because of the air ride sispension)Larry Gude said:...before we bestow environmental terrorists status on you, how many miles a week will you drive?
I mean, if you do 12,000 a year vs. some Hummer-phobe who gets 24-30 mpg in their Corolla, but drives 36,000 a year, your 'carbon' foot print is the same plus you're not gonna die if Bambi steps in front of you.
Add to that any time you got the fellas in there to go to a game or fish or golf or whatever it is and that mileage is for four people plus gear, not four people and four commuter cars and gear.
I never liked them until I sat in elaines. Now I want one.
bohman said::delusion: I used to work for a beer distributor; their 3900 Internationals got about the same mileage - hauling 32,000 lbs.
So I guess Pete's right - get a diesel. Do they make those w/ a diesel?

He's doing more to help than environment than the rest of us. The more oil we use, the higher the price will go. The higher the price goes, the more incentive we have to develop alternate fuels.Larry Gude said:...before we bestow environmental terrorists status on you, how many miles a week will you drive?
6000 pounds is a "magic" number. MD was trying to pass a new tax on vehicles over 6,000 pounds, and it was a size-able tax. Can't remember exactly, but I think it was in the neighborhood of $1000 to 2000 extra a year in registration fees.rack'm said:

If you really care about stopping oil dependence, burn every drop you can!
