If you think you'll get problems with Medal of Honor, try the freaks at Warcrack - I mean WarCraft.

Also, do you children have IM? If you get a pack of viruses or interesting history, it could be from links sent to them via IM and email. All my son's friends hate me because I saved their IMs and emails, printed them, and gave them to their parents. :lmao:

did the same thing....needless to say it drastically reduced the "friends" that my teenagers had....called it "weeding out the idiots"....told my kids that it's not that I don't trust them....I don't trust whoever it is that they're talking to

No, neither have IM, however it was an IM type tool he was using that interacted with the game. There's loads of crap on our machine now from whatever he was downloading. Which is our fault for just being lazy. Havn't gotten around to creating kids accounts that don't allow them to download anything. We have that established on the other computers.

Well see, he's at that invincible age where no amount of stories or examples sink in. Because nothing like that would ever happen to him, just to other people. :duh: I remember that age, and the simply assinine things I did (which I'm probably very lucky to live to tell about. :shocking: ) Best we can do is limit his access and ability to do a whole lot on the PC.

If you need help cleaning the computer, I'll gladly break my vow of never working on another computer ever again because people are a bunch of ungrateful anuses JUST to help you 'cause I know you wouldn't be an ungrateful anus. :huggy:
Thanks Barbra. :flowers: I think Steve got it cleaned up and my boy is totally locked out unti he gets the time to set up an account that prevents him from downloading a bunch of crap.

My son used to play Rune Scape or something until I realized there was a chat going on at the same time. He was playing against a few cousins, but I had no idea their game was open to the public as well until I saw this chat thing going on. Needless to say, he doesn't play anymore.

My 17 pulled the same thing online BS. Except she KNEW she was talking to an adult and the poor guy did not. He was 30 and totally into her. Stupid though. I would have realized right away after all those cancelled dates. (seems she always had an excuse) But he was HEARTBROKEN when I caught her and sat down and typed, "Do you know you're talking to my 17 year old daughter?" He was a nice guy who said he wouldn't want his 17 year old daughter talking to him either. :lmao: We talk alot now and he has finally found the girl of his dreams..no she's not 17. :lmao:

To make a long story short, I moved the computer into the living room, got a key stroke generator so I can see what she's up to and watch her like a hawk!

She meant keystroke recorder. It records everything someone types and sends it to an admin report. Passwords, chats, everything. It does not record incoming conversations though.
