What is the atmosphere like at the Green Door? I've heard of it. Is it a college crowd? Clubby? What bands usually play there?

Small, dogs and hippies running around Its a pretty cool place, but it gets a little crowded when all the college kids get there (usually later in the night), and I dont like crowds.

Yeah but they put a big wood safety barrier around it now from what I understand. When I was there I used to love watching the freshmen who were playing pool set their beers on top of the stove while they took their shot only to turn around and pick up a boiling beer. They would grab it and do this ...

Let's see, when I first went to the Green Door, Carl and Lilla Berry owned it. Then a Guy named Al Bragg...Many years later on my 25th birthday thanks to way too mch wild Turkey and probably a few other things, Darryl cut me off and tossed me out. Not sure I ever went back.

You should sell those albums. I just got rid of 4 boxes of old albums and got 100.00 bucks. I can use that more than the records. My hubbys like you, he didnt want to part with them, but i won.
