or corrects at some point if it is

The US defense department webpage celebrating an army general who served in the Vietnam war and was awarded the country’s highest military decoration has been removed and the letters “DEI” added to the site’s address.

On Saturday, US army Maj Gen Charles Calvin Rogers’s Medal of Honor webpage led to a “404” error message. The URL was also changed, with the word “medal” changed to “deimedal”.

That's the third article I've read with different people listed who were both black.

You've given a link that goes to a 404 page. Too funny.

I did a search on Military.com and nothing comes up.

Went to defense.gov and there's nothing on there about MOH winners.

Went to the CMOH website and here he is:

My guess is they redid the DoD website and the link in that story is no longer valid, which would explain why the story on military.com is now vanished. Or the whole thing is a lie. Reddit came up in my Google search and they're keeling over with fury that "Pete Hegseth removed this hero." They don't like to run things down to get facts, they just like to cherrypick and scream with unbridled rage.

Keep in mind that Military.com is a civilian news org and they are exceedingly leftwing and a lot of fake news.

Check their editorial staff - not a military person in the bunch.

IMO they shouldn't be allowed to do this because it's misrepresentation and fraud.

Yeah, that fake news piece flew around the interwebs with few noticing that the referenced web site was a "dot com" and had nothing to do with DoD.

They left the story up just long enough to send it viral in the progblog community, then removed it. The Reddit thread I looked at linked to a 404 page that was supposed to be the story on military.com, but the mob apparently didn't click on it because they were going wild with accusations and threats.
