Two large garden tomatoes, 1/4 onion, Basil, Oregano, Cilantro, ground Cayenne pepper. Blender until chunky smooth.
What'd I leave out?
Salt

Mikey's special sauce.

Make yourself some home made tortilla chips and serve w/ a cold beer
WTF?
Lime, salt, pepper, jalapeno, and garlic.
I think it is a maryland thing because my family makes and cans salsa every year.... and it never taste like the authentic mexican salsa I am used to. Theirs has more of a chili flavor to it. They add the oregano and basil and some other stuff to it.
My salsa is tomatoes, diced red onion, garlic, lemon, jalapeno (& any other peppers I have on hand) tons of cilantro and that is pretty much it!
That sounds delish!
Damn it! I was missing the red onion in my guac last night
WTF?
Lime, salt, pepper, jalapeno, and garlic.
Although it would have been better, I was too lazy to chop.Salt, and light on the cilantro (for me the flavor is strong) and chop dont blend
I will make the next batch with some peppers. Either chili or jalapeno.I always put a can of diced chiles in, also some chopped up peppers, what ever is availible. Maybe some chopped up green onions.
Oooooooo....the corn is a nice touch!!and some cumin and (if you like it) a proportionate amount of whole kernel corn (NOT blended).
Depends on what you like, and we have a chopper that makes it waaaaaaaaaaaay easy!
And I did the other night, I grilled t bones and shrimp for the guys and ate chopped veggies, dill and yogurt dip then a whole bowl of guac and chips. But I spaced on the red onion which I usually addRed onion just sets the salsa and guacamole off! I can just eat gucamole and chips for dinner it is the bomb diggity!
and some cumin and (if you like it) a proportionate amount of whole kernel corn (NOT blended).
