One of my cockatiels, that I thought was male, is laying eggs!!!!
What do I do??? I have never done this kind of thing before, I have no idea where to go from here. I know I should be feeding momma a special diet, but what??? HELP!!!!
I had the same thing happen to me! I had the bird, I want to say for at least 5 years and I went away to college, so my Aunt took HIM, beautiful pearl with lots of yellow, hand raised from my neighbor, two years later HE began laying eggs! Good luck! I haven't read the rest of the thread yet, but if no one has told you they like a "box" for privacy when laying, it's a little stressful for them to see their egg bang to the bottom of the cage once they pop it out...
