We looked at and loved the one that I linked, but it turned out to have structural/foundation issues. I believe that it went into foreclosure as well.

I can hook you up with some awesome places out my way.

Big 'ol 5 bedroom farm house with over 20 acres, barns, sheds :yay:

Ouch! Structural problems are very difficult to figure out unless you have a lot of experience. I hope you have a contingency in place to address this.
I would call ABM Construction 301-481-1944 ask for Alfie. They are working on a cracked wall for me also.

I second ABM. Alfie is great to work with. He is the owner and very hands on with the company. He answers your questions and doesn't blow smoke. Treats you like a human instead of a check.

No, I'm not affiliated with ABM. I used them to repair my foundation and I found that I actually enjoyed the experience because of the above reasons.

Sorry to hear this. :huggy: We fell in love with the first house we looked at. I thought I'd never again find a house we liked. I cried when our realtor told us it was under contract. Looking back, I'm SO glad we didn't get it!

Hopefully you'll find the perfect house!

Well after a mini mental breakdown yesterday :)killingme) I had a long talk with the listing agent..well SO did..and we are getting together to put in a backup offer today..and hope for the best. If not..we are still looking around and have a list of houses we want to see inside. I believe that everything happens for a reason...so we will see how it turns out. You guys have been so awesome though..I am still a bit confused and lost..but the advice I have gotten from people has really helped..and after a good talk with the realtor..I think I will be less panicked and overwhelmed.
