In all seriousness, K_Jo... this is the craft you MUST DO! No one else will think of it!!! The instructions are very easy to follow.

Christmas toilet seat

"Yours may turn out so wonderful that you want to share it with the neighborhood! If so, simply hang it on your front door in lieu of a wreath."

craft idea

Yule logs are cheap to make and all materials are free. Just need a small log cut it the size you want and then add holly, running cedar, pine cones, etc you can drill holes for candles and add fake snow or glitter. Attach to log with staples.

In a pinch, you can make sanitary napkains into slippers. You'll need 4 for a pair. With a hot glue gun, you can add small bows, etc.

A group of girlfriends and I exchange Christmas ornaments each year, in lieu of gifts. This year, they want to exchange Christmas decorations, in lieu of ornaments. Anybody have any ideas of something I can make?
Please keep in mind I have the following limitations:

  • I am 0% crafty
  • I am officially on short-term disability ('cause of my back), so the less of C_Jo's money I have to spend, the better
  • I #### up everything I touch
  • I can't cut in a straight line
  • I am 0% crafty

I can sew on a button and do a standard crochet stitch. One time, I did a cross-stitch project. And I can latch hook like a mofo.

TIA. :flowers:

I don't like "country" looking stuff or plastic.

TIA. :flowers:

YES! YES! YES!!!!!! Holiday slippers!!!

Holiday fabric wreaths. Get some straw wreaths wrapped in plastic. About 1.5 yards of fabric ( cut into squares with pinking shears ) A hot glue gun, a screwdiver to insert cloth into wreath and ribbon to decorate. Wrap cloth around screwdriver and insert in wreath. Repeat until fullness is achieved. You may apply hot glue to the end of the screwdriver before you insert to ensure the fabric stays put. Top off with ribbons.
