I agreed with you (I think) that it wasn't a good idea to practice that way, but at the same time it's good to get some running in. But you're right, if he's not forced to throw in practice then what's he going to do during the games? If they work on that then he'll be OK, but that was poor coaching. Since when does the QB tell the coach what to do? Lame!

Probably not half the team, but we'll never know the entire locker room path.

if you follow the links in your source you eventually get to this:

If you read that story you will see that A single reporter made a claim about something she thought she heard in the locker room. if you read the twitter comments from other reporters that were there you will see that they dont agree with her 'reporting' of the situation.

as for Deshawn's comments, its normal that some guys are going to question the coach's or management's decisions. It is also normal for the leaders of the team to get them back in line. I just didn't think Jackson was that type of a leader.

I read the whole thing - It was in the Tribune here this morning as well. Also heard about it yesterday from several sports outlets. Jackson said what you would expect from one of the veteran leaders inside the locker room. There were comments late last year and earlier this year along similar lines about Griffin. There's grumbling and dissension going on inside One Buc Place here as well. Really bad teams have a tendency to do that, but they still try to keep it inside. Lots of other links on this topic from major sports news outlets as well.
