I usually tip at least 20% unless I have a bad server. If he/she is really good, I'll make it more than that. One thing I really hate that wasn't on the list, is the server that keeps coming to the table during the meal to see how it's going. Hey, if I'm not complaining, quit interrupting my meal unless my drink is empty. I also remember seeing some survey that women are better tippers. Maybe because we serve a lot at home????? Just putting in my two cents worth.
