I like the bike if it were not for the Humpty Dumpty gas tank.
I don't think it would look as bad if the seat were all the way up.. the seat is at it's lowest setting in that pic...

1200RS?

Don't like the itty-bitty windshields. I can ride with my faceshield open, Just close it when it's raining or cold.
You'll have to take it for a spin, see what I mean.

So you raise the seat all the way up so you are not humping the tank and you are tilted over in fetal position.

Not really, I sit upright on my bike, and haven't made any changes..

ST almost everything is adjustable.. Seat, handlebars, foot pegs.. gear shift, brake pedal.. windshield.

I've sat on one, and the riding position is still the same as the RS..

but bikes are like women everyone likes something different.

Not everyone wants to drag a knee in the corner.. and some people even like Goldwings..

Somoeone mentioned the buffeting at the picnic .. you know riding a naked bike, you get to 75 or 80 and you're getting beat to death, feels like someone is trying to rip you from yor seat.. I forgot all about that sensation.. and I don't miss it.
I don't remember if it was me, but that first time getting up to 60 and sitting upright, I did feel like I was going to get blown off the bike. The next ride, I crouched just a little and was at 80 with no problem. Lugnut has a double bubble screen on his and many on yzf600r.com swear by them. I'm looking for one now...I'm trying to decide between the Puig and Zero Gravity DB screens and the Memphis Shades Cockpit screen (it comes in a cool blue-to-clear fade).

Check out Cee Bailey's too.. they manufacture Airplane Windscreens, but their secondary business is making aftermarket bike windscreens.

Couldn't you just duct tape one of those clear plastic ice cream cup thingy's to the handlebars? It's the right shape and about the same size

I tell him this all the time, but he doesn't listen to me. You'd think we were married or something.

Funny thing is I might have been interested in a R1200RT but now he ruined it and I can't buy one. :frown:
