Were I looking for a cruiser type, the Indian Scout is awesome. But this thing has crossed my mind as a second "commuter bike". But they dont sell them here..... 650 thumper based on the old Funduro engine, which was an Aprilia motor customized by the to BMWs specs.

My wife had a 650 BMW Funduro...full complement of hard bags. She brought it east with her when she moved here but sold it soon afterward. I only rode it maybe twice, just locally. She used to do adventure riding in the Pacific northwest and Canada. Longest was almost 3000 miles. All living "off the back of the bike". Me..I'd enjoy watching that on a TV documentary. ;-p

The Feds fined the chit out of Harley Davidson for supporting their dealer upgrades to "Screaming Eagle" kits like my wife's dyna has. And yep..the damned bike is a rocket.
