Warren is not just ensuring that there will be an excuse should she lose an election, as Hot Air’s Allahpundit rightly notes. The senator’s statement was made in reference to all elections, which is far more sinister than Trump’s own ego-driven flirtation in 2016 with the idea that the race would be "rigged" by "illegal" votes against himself. Also, it should not be ignored that Warren's message was delivered to an almost exclusively African American audience. The senator was very clearly saying: Republicans only win when they cheat, and they only win when they suppress your vote.

You will also not that after he won the electoral college but lost the popular vote HE, Donald Trump, claimed that "millions" of illegal votes were cast. He even put together a commission to study the "problem". The commission of course found nothing and, in tune with the nature of Donald Trump's management style, the commission disbanded amidst swirling failure.

the narrative is that it is likely Democrat voters that are suppressed. For example, Democrats believe that minorities - known to vote majority Democrat - are too stupid to get IDs, and therefore Voter ID laws are inherently racist and anti-Democrat. Not even a single bit of that narrative is true, mind you, but Democrats tell other Democrats that, so Democrats believe it.

Similarly, if you are a Democrat woman, you can think and vote for yourself. But, if you are a woman married to a conservative, it is not that there may be some similarity in policy positions and such; no, it can only be that if you are married to a conservative you must therefore be weak and easily manipulated and therefore you cast your vote how your husband tells you to cast your vote. Not even a single bit of that narrative is true, mind you, but Democrats tell other Democrats that, so Democrats believe it.

Did you see the video where the guy asks a bunch of white young people if voter IDs are racist and they all say yes because black people don't have driver's licenses and can't find the DMV and assorted other racist bullshit; then the guy goes to a predominantly black working class area and asks them if they have a driver's license (every one of them did) and do they know where the DMV is (they all did), and the kicker: do they think ID should be presented when voting (they all answered yes).

If anyone is guilty of stereotyping and racism, it's young white liberals.
