While other girls were playing with dolls.. I was rocking out to KISS and AC/DC with my long haired uncle.. I learned air guitar before I could ride a bike!!

I joined the girl scouts, at my moms insistance and was DISTURBED that we didn't get to camp out like the boys did.. WE had sleepovers in the damn MALL! :

I wanted to ride motorcycles with Dad and go see concerts. My first was the Beach Boys and I lie to get in because I wasn't old enough.

You and I could have grown up in the same house!

only difference was I didn't have a long haired uncle....it was my short haired older brother

My cousin always had the hots for Luke, so it wasn't a big deal.

Admit it. If your cousin would have been a girl instead of a boy by the name of bruiser,, it would have been no big deal, but as it were, in the 70s that was just plain wrong.

head more than once. No, early 80's

You owned "Klick-Klacks" and smacked yourself in the face more than
once. Never heard of them

You had either a "bowl cut" or "pixie," not to mention the "Dorothy
Hamill" People sometimes thought you were a boy. I had the Dorothy Hamill "The Wedge"

Your Holly Hobbie sleeping bag was your most prized possession. I had a Holly Hobbie metal lunch box

You had the Donnie and Marie dolls with those pink and purple satiny
shredded outfits. No...but I had the Sunshine Family & Tiffany and Tuesday Taylor dolls(Remember you could flip the top of their head around and change the hair from blond to brown

You spent hours in your backyard on your metal swing set with the
trapeze. The swing set tipped over at least once. yep

You had a pair of Doctor Scholl's sandals (the ones with hard sole &
the buckle). You also had a pair of salt-water sandals. (is this an east
coast thing??) yes, the wooden flip flops with the metal buckle that got
rusty and hard to adjust. I had the wooden Dr. Scholl's but I've never heard of salt water sandals (This is a west coast thing?)

You wanted to be Laura Ingalls Wilder really bad; you wore that
Little House on the Prairie-inspired plaid, ruffle shirt with the high neck in at
least one school picture; and you despised Nellie Olson! I remember the outfit

You wanted your first kiss to be at a roller rink.! Calvert county had no roller rink in the 70's

It was a big event in your household each year when the "Wizard of Oz"
would come on TV. Your mom would break out the popcorn and sleeping bags! I looked forward to it

You often asked your Magic-8 ball the question: "Who will I marry. Shaun
Cassidy, Leif Garrett, or David Cassidy..?" I had a Hardy Boys baby blue satin jacket. Bell bottom jeans with the Hardy Boys heads on the bell bottom.

You made Shrinky-Dinks and put iron-on kittens on your t-shirts! Remember how the iron ons smelled when you first put it on the shirt

You had subscriptions to Dynamite and Tiger Beat. and i put all the posters on my wall

You thought Olivia Newton John's song "Physical" was about aerobics. I thought that was an 80's song?
