The IRS takes up to 72 Hours or longer to start showing refund information. I am due a refund on 1/30 to from the Feds but I do remember last year it taking a while for the irs site to have any information to show me.

Hang in there! Looks like we are all in the same boat!

Maryland refund status now shows a deposit date of today so I guess my bank will post it this afternoon or maybe tomorrow. I got this message:

Your refund of (X) was approved on 1/22/2009. Your requested direct deposit was released to your account on the approved date. According to Federal Reserve Guidelines, the funds should be available within 48 hours.....

and the irs website gave me a deposit date, finally for both of them, I should have state no later than Saturday and Fed next week.

Is anyone else getting good news?:yahoo:

NO, I havent received the good news. I also filed Tuesday 1/13 but when I check the MD website the status is "processing". If your status is "processed" you might want to check your account now because it should be in there !!! But I have not received my direct deposit and I am getting ready to call Comptroller of MD because I need my money !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just checked the Maryland website and shows it would be released today. My bank account doesn't reflect it yet. Probably tomorrow morning.
