I'm assuming I got the red karma because of my "I hate people sometimes" comment. Bring it on, if you're going to treat animals like so much garbage there's only one emotion I have left for you . . .

:yeahthat:
I hate people all the time, so feel free to pile it on, because the last time I checked, your Karmic opinion of me didn't pay my bills. People who treat animals as disposable deserve to die in a fire.

I guess it depends on which Humane Society you go to. The ones that I have worked with accept back the animals they have adopted out and keep them until another home is found. I have heard of a few though that once they are full, dispose of the ones that have been there the longest.

You may be right about some Humane Societies, but TriCounty gets a weekly (on a certain day of the week) van of animals from the Humane Society that they are unable to adopt. Guess what? The Humane Society is a "no kill" - that's why they take them to the shelter.....

And I fully disagree with that. If you are a member of an organization that rescues animals from Tri-County to give them a better shot, they should keep them until they find homes. In my opinion, the group that delivers a van of animals to Tri-County weekly is no better than the owner who drops their animals off at night so they don't have to deal with a real person and the guilt.

yup I think it is worse, they tell people they have a no kill but in the end if they take to a place that kills then they do kill.

You are absolutely right. Tri-County needs to stop accepting them and make the organization live up to what they want people to believe their reputation is. . . humane--hah!:smack:
