Ikea's furniture is low in price but they do not sacrifice quality. Everything I have purchased and seen there is beautifully crafted. the only headache is that you have to put the majority of it together.

I've bought a few things from Ikea in the past and have never been disappointed. I tend to stick with wood furniture though (not particle board stuff) b/c it's usually a lot more solid and if it gets loose or something, it's easier to remedy than other materials, IMO.

But, that's the FUN part!

Oh, yeah, it's easy to transport in a car, truck, horse & buggy, etc.

I have some pieces from there and the quality is excellent. You do have to be able to follow simple directions to put most of it together, but it wasn't hard to do.

At $249, it's not cheap but it's very sturdy. I did have to stain and poly it, then assemble it, but it was very easy to do both.
