Hey! That looks like the one on Color My Home episode last night. Except they put crown moulding and painted it white. The crown moulding made it look real fancy like.

We bought a "scratch and dent" chest of drawers there for the boys' room. I think it was about $75.00. Just had to do a minor repair on 1 drawer and it was all good. Can't beat the quality for the price in new furniture. It's not gonna last 50 years, but not too much furniture made these days will.

We got a whole bedroom set, and the boy's bunkbed and dresser there....I consider myself an expert at IKEA furniture assembly :biggrin:

The only thing that bugs me is the cardboard dresser bottoms (if you like to shove too much stuff in one drawer you could possible pop it out the bottom)...but that's with practically any inexpensive dressers...even some of the expensive ones!

and I wouldnt buy their mattresses either...unless its for a kid.

Ugh - I was gonna say - everything but the bedroom sets are great!!! In the process of replacing all my personal possessions I discovered that Ikea's mattress and beds are not "standard" size, which means you have to buy all your bedding - sheets and comforters - from them as well in order for it to fit correctly. Other than that, I loved a lot of the items and pieces in their store. I didn't buy my couch from them because I found them all way too firm / hard / rigid for my personal taste.

I am addicted to Ikea.

Going to their store for me is like a pilgrimage to Mecca. I consider it my "Holy Place", and I have a religious experience walking through their doors.

I need to make a trip up there soon to do some mega-shopping. :biggrin:

I don't like to be limited on my bedding choices, and I like my bed to actually be made up quarter tight so buying standard US sized sheets that don't fit the bed won't make me happy.

Nah. I have Virginia-itis. I hate the roads in VA, so avoid going across their state line at whatever cost. I'll stick to the one in College Park or White Marsh.

This is the one I have and it is actually a bit lighter in tone. I didn't have my power tools when I got it and was still able to put it together. It is also already poly sealed so I didn't have to do that. 5 years later and it hasn't collapsed :lmao:
