Running the country is more like what a governor does on a daily basis. The last 2 senators that became president bucked it all up. Not saying JDV would mess it up, but Ronnie D would come with a better resume.

That's what I've been saying. That way, they don't come back.
Decades ago, there was an article in the alternative San Diego news and entertainment papers. San Diego Reader, I think it was.
Their feature story was an illegal alien from Mexico who'd been picked up multiple times, and who, in the article, bragged that he could be back in San Diego before the BP could drop him off, drive back, and do their paperwork.
A C-130 would have solved that problem.
The Left has unendingly repeatedly proclaimed that “a person cannot be ‘illegal’ “. And they don’t like “alien”.
They believe in open borders. Period. Hence the term “undocumented”. As in, it’s totally ok to be here, they just lack PAPERWORK. Otherwise - there’s no objection.
I wouldn’t mind being informed but - what other industrialized nation just allows people in without anything? AND puts them up, feeds them, gets them jobs, licenses - rolls out the red carpet? Seriously the ones I’ve been to, it’s been “great, come in, spend your money here - but when it’s time to go, you can’t leave fast enough “.

They HAVE managed to succeed in getting pretty much all media - TV, TV shows, news broadcasts, streaming, movies - to call them "undocumented". You won't find them saying illegal alien anymore, even though it is far and away the most descriptive language available.
It's like global warming. Just this week, Hakeem Jeffries was going on about the global temperature rising x number of degrees by 2040. But they don't want to call it global warming anymore, even though the VERY THING they scream about - is that greenhouse gases are warming the planet. WARMING is exactly the thing they're talking about - yet they dare not say it, because then they can't blame EVERY DAMNED THING on it.
It doesn't STOP anyone. We even have morons on The View who think EARTHQUAKES are caused by climate change.
I can only speak for the ones I've known, years ago - cash, under the table. No taxes.

I reckon. Seeing as how to be any of those they first have to apprentice which can take at least 3 years before becoming a journeyman. Illegals are only looking for the easy non-compliance type work.

The ones I worked with in Northern Virginia all had forged documents. Papers are easily obtained in that area.
We had 1 contract at the Supreme Court building. Employer submitted paperwork on all of us. 2 illegals got green lighted by security for admittance to the job site.

The cost is great. That's for sure, but who can we blame the cost on?
That's an easy question the cost of their removal should be blamed on the Democrats who let them in here.
If we stop feeding and housing them , many will leave voluntarily. Perhaps even offer them a free ride, if they show up voluntarily.

So easy to fix that. Link the social security databases, especially the death index, with former employers listed on W2's, identity databases, maiden name of mother used for SS.
Interesting how Dems are suddenly concerned about removal costs. Not so much previously, even though we were flying them all over, housing and feeding them, etc.
