Like 65% of their public school kids can't read or write or math at grade level, but sure.....they should definitely go after the home schoolers.

There are reasons they go after home schoolers.
They don't get to put their liberal sht in the kids heads.
They don't like to be shown up by home schooled kids.
They want to keep the rolls of bad teachers filled.
The kids that are home schooled are better behaved, and that means they get the worst of the lot.

We have a young fellow working in the boat yard that was home schooled. While he is intelligent and has good manners, he's ill prepared for the "real world". He definitely needs thicker skin if he plans on working around other laborers. They tend to be childish at times and it shows that he wasn't exposed to this type of behavior.
... And besides the fact that homeschooled kids don't have to put up with all that liberal BS the teachers are feeding them - I'll bet this has something to do with the school funding being returned to the states. The homeschooled kids will be entitled to that money, too, and they don't want that.

Yes: I agree they need the associations with other students, but some schools are so bad it's the only way to get an education.
I don't disagree, my youngest nephew is home schooled, engaged, and serving USMC. He was exposed to the outside world through his uncle and cousin.
