They used to put thin paper tape on the tops of our doors. If we snuck out, the tape was broken. Do you know what we did instead? Took off the vents inside the room and crawled through the building's duct work.

When I had the security installed at the house I had the bedroom door to my daughters room, her windows, and the house doors all put on separate zones.
I had second controller that could not be over rode from the main hall controller installed in my bedroom.
