Yellow dog democrat, I suppose so. You cannot swing a welfare recipient around without hitting a couple who are trying to give them another check.Originally posted by zuchick

He didn't say he knew anything about the Democratic party or politics in general - he said he was a Yellow Dog Democrat. As in, he'd vote for a yellow dog as long as it was a Democrat.Originally posted by *archimedes*

Did you come to this conclusion the same way you did about cornsqeezin's versus moonshine? Democrates go down like water and give you a warm fuzzy?Originally posted by zuchick
Well, I know just enough about the Republican Party to know that a Yellow Dog Democtat makes for a better candidate even if the run is for Dog Catcher.

Dude - Wasn't the term "misery index" coined under the Carter Administration? When was the last time you heard that? Give me a break.Originally posted by zuchick
Heee. You know I can remember when a fellow ask me year ago would I vote for Jimmy "Teeth" Carter. I told him I sure would.. He then reminded me about the high High Inflation, Interest Rates and it was during Carter's stay in office when a loaf of bread went from 35 cents to $1.35.. I then told him I didn't mind paying a $1.35 for a loaf of bread.. Nope not at all because atleast when Carter was in office I was work'in and could afford the $1.35.

Interesting.
Hey I was wondering how much of that corn squeezin's you drink. Might want to put the jar back in the freezer because these numbers might be sobering. Are the corn squeezin's taxed? I know you would want to contribute the rightful tax on spirits.Originally posted by zuchick
