I switched from Driecway to Cable pretty recently. Direcway's upload speeds leave much to be desired. Not worth the amost 60 bucks a month. I still have my Directv for my television. I have to pay an extra $5 to have cable internet without cable TV. It's sooooooooo worth it.

My Comcast TV & Internet went up $2.40 this month without either a kiss or explanation.

Do you have DirecTV or DirecWay now??

I got a GREAT deal, Expanded Digital Plus, 4 MBps Internt, And DVR (TiVO) for $75 a month, after the "buy back" for the DirecTV and DirecWay, $55 a month.

They'll buy back your DirecTV service for $200, and the DirecWAY for $100. Only gripe I hae is learning the new channels.. there is no rhyme or reason to their layout.

Cool. I have DirecTV, but no DirecWay (as in WAY too expensive). I like DirecTV, but at that price, it'll be worth switching completely to cable. Anybody know if they have HD? I'm planning to get an HDTV in the next month or so (Superbowl party maybe?), so I'd like to have some HD programming if I can get it.

yes they have HD, and they have that in a package deal also.

And you can record HD programming using the DVR.

While they're there, can you ask when (or IF) they're ever going to get to my neck of the woods? Dial-up sucks.

I got my cable connection set up on Thursday, It took about 45 minutes to get it up and running, and it was sooo worth it!! Now I have the speed required to run this new monster of a computer. I know :bragulator:
