That's alright... plenty of others prayed.... He heard someone besides me.... and it only takes 2 to be gathered.... we were gathered in prayer.

:coffee:

I hope that didn't sound awful! It was meant to be encouraging that you've got support from all sorts of corners! :buddies:

Well I'm home. I'm weak.... can't do much for 6-8 weeks. I have to heal slowly but surely.... but I'm home with my wonderful hubby and back at my bad arse computer.... so maybe now we can get back into the Bible...

:coffee:

There is no place like home. I am sure you are glad to be there. Prayers will continue for your recovery and lots more life to come. I can imagine how grateful your family is to have you back. You go, girl! :huggy:

I wanted to share this with you in your trying time. I have been working really hard to clean out a lot of our junk so we can move in the near future. I found a note from my mom tucked away in a random box of my things. It said:

'And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God'. Romans 8:28.

That was the time my children's dad left us, (dated March 4, 1993) and she was trying to lift me up; I am glad I saved it. It is on a crinkled piece of paper that is now on my refrigerator so I can see it every day. Continue to get better, hc.

I went to the doctor today at Johns Hopkins.... the Tumor was indeed Colon Cancer but it is now gone.

There were spots all over the place.... [except the lungs which are clear].... the doctor took them out too.... All those spots the doctors thought could be more cancer.... benign.

I'll have to heal from the surgery and I'll have to go through some more chemo to mop up anything that could have been hiding.... but It's all gone....

God has answered prayers and support.... I'm going to be here for a while, long while hopefully, to enjoy this forum, going back to work, and most of all enjoying my family and all the new adventures this life on earth has to offer.

God has unlimited miracles to shower His children with.... and He gave me a miracle. I am convinced that your prayers got His attention and He responded....

Thank you for your prayers and please say prayers of thanksgiving!!!!!!!

I thank you for sharing your story. A lot of people need to hear stories of struggle and strength built out of that struggle. You're an inspiring person. I have several friends fighting the battle with cancer and each and every one of them has the same story of personal strength and determination. I think you have left an indelible mark on many of us. Thank you and God bless you.

I have a calendar on my desk. Yesterday's verse was from Isaiah 43:1

“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.

I have no doubt that God gave us a Miracle. I wasn't asking for healing.... all those who were praying did that.

I was asking for a homecoming.... not time for that yet, I believe. I didn't want to go through a long fight against all those spots on the PET scan.

God just made them all benign.
