I'm so proud of my son

We just found out that my son has been awarded a four year NROTC scholarship to Kansas University!! He will be joining my first born son at KU who is also there on a four year NROTC scholarship. Two down and one more to go after another year of high school. She also wants to try for a scholarship and has really brought her grades and attitude for school up the last year. It still feels like yesterday when my cute little babies were sitting around their little table in their little chairs having a mid morning snack with Barney singing on TV in the background.

Thank you, all. Just wanted to say there is hope for kids that struggle a little in school. My son had a tutor from second to fifth grade provided by the school system, they thought it would help him, he was having a hard time. His last two years of high school he has taken AP classes and is getting A's and B's in them. He's taking German 3 this year and has an A in it. Don't ever give up on your kids when they are having a hard time in school. They may just be late bloomers.
