I want to hit Famous Dave's JUST so I can try the Burnt Ends!
Too many BBQ joints, too little time.
Chubby's in Emmitsburg is right up there at the top of the list. There are a number of places in Texas that I could be faithful to: Schoepf's in Belton; Salt Lick in Round Rock; Augie's in San Antonio. Corky's in Memphis is fondly remembered.
As far as burnt ends go, I was astonished that Monello had never heard of them before. So I got to be there when he lost his virginity.

Walked past the Black Hog last weekend and it smelled sooooo good. How was it? He's been going down hill for the last two years. Plus, he dropped the jalapeno wheels. Bastards!
The consensus is he's getting bored with it.
Check out the Black Hog downtown next time you're up this way. http://www.blackhogbbq.com/
They don't have tap beer. :

Have you ever been to, Mission? Mmmmmm Mmmmmm Good!
How was it?
My favorite to smoke is either bacon or pork butt because I can't screw them up, but my favorite smoked meat is the smoked whitefish from Manleys fish market in St. Ignace, Michigan. If you ever get get to Michigan's upper peninsula, it's the first town past the Mackinac bridge. What is your favorite meat to smoke? If you could only eat BBQ at 1 commercial establishment, what place would that be?
Bonus points if you know what or have eaten something called "Burnt Ends"

I smoked bluefish once. It was delicious!
I wouldn't want the cheesy sauce. It would mess with the ketchup. The idea of putting cheese sauce on barbecue sounds strange.
