in class tonight...

the homework we turned in was a typed review to an article on maps, and a map of our own that we had to draw.

BL and I had fairly common maps -- mine was of my room, and his was of his neighrborhood. Someone in the class had drawn a map of Frostburg State University -- so I raised my hand and said that I had gone there for 3 years. :yay: The boy who was sitting at that table claimed that he went to Frostburg for a semester and he thought it was too boring, so he left. I REALLY doubt he went to FSU, because he usually shows up an hr late for our class (he's a grungy, goth-like slacker kid), and couldn't even think of the word "archaeologist".....he said "umm, what's the word for a smart guy?"

ARGH, I hate ignorance!!!!!!!

and on the 2nd day of class, I was walking into the classroom (this was before BL showed up), and the kid squeezed past me in the rudest way ever...

sorry....I just don't like this kid....

I don't know, if the clue is "smart guy" I don't think I would have EVER come up with Archeologist... They do make great shoe salesman though.

:howdy: I'm still around! I've been insanely busy -- I have a job on campus calling alumni 4 times a week asking for contributions for the Annual Fund, I have a ton of work in all my classes, and plus it's so much nicer outside so I'm really not on the computer all that much..................

Erg. That's what my daughter used to do.

 It's not so bad, some people are pretty rude but some people are actually very nice and they'll start reminiscing about their college days. The job is just so ideal because it's right on campus, and none of my pay is taxed -- plus it only lasts another 2 weeks, then it's time for finals!
