In-home senior care

Can anyone recommend a company in the Prince Frederick area that does in-home senior care? My Mom has moved in with me and she'd like to have someone help her unpack, keep her BR/bathroom clean, clean her portapotty, lite laundry, change bed linens. When she was still able to be in her own home in Florida she used a company called Home Instead but I don't see them here locally. Anyone have any recommendations please? Thanks much.

Check with the Calvert office of aging. Their numbers are on the county website. They are a good group and should be able to point you in the right direction.

luvscats, let me check we live in Huntingtown and used a local co., when my M.I.L. lived with us. Can't remember the name of the co. , i will look through our records and get back with you.

I don't know of any companies but there used to be an ad on here for inhome healthcare that helped with stuff like that. I don't remember the name of the company i will see if i can find it.

Try them. They worked with my sister in law, for her father. They were going to help with my husband when he came home from the hospital....but it wasnt necessary after all. :-(
