We have a five year old male Orange cat that needs a new home. We are moving and can't take him with us. He has not been fixed... and he is a little shy, but very loveable once he gets to know you. We'd love to see him go to a good home! Anybody interested... let me know! Also, if you know of any rescue groups that I could contact... that info would be great too! Thanks in advance!

Get him fixed! People will be less likely to take him if he's potentially going to mark furniture, etc.

First off I can't take him in, but I can pass the word about him. Has he had any shots? If so what and when? Does he do any scent marking inside? Any pictures?

You can get him fixed for under $50.

happy to be living
Once upon a time, I was owned by two cats who had been with me for 4/5 years. After several moves, including one from NY to FL, I was offered a job in N.C.; where I really wanted to live. Had told the landlady I was moving, put a deposit on a moving truck, had a date for the utilities to be shut off, etc....
Could not find a place in the area where I was moving that would allow my 2 feline companions, BeBop & Coltrane.
At the last minute, I canceled the truck, called the place that hired me, called the landlady and kept all the ulilities going...

Both kitties stayed with me through many more years and moves; including a cross county relocation.

...just sayin...

Well the fact is that not everyone gets attached to their critters - what can you do? You can't MAKE them feel what they don't feel. IF that's the case. Maybe it's something else entirely?
