Is there anything else going on right now besides Hill and Bill? I cannot believe that the conservatives say that we won't let them die ouw when well just look at the posts here of my conservative comrades.

I frankly admit I won't let Clinton "die out". Until Democrats and Liberals get a reality check, I'm on the job.

Suffication..

I cannot think of a single former president who kept jumping around saying "look at me..Look what I said...Hey can I run for another term? Can we change the constitution? ..."

I teach History...and all the rest had a measure of grace and maturity. Sure there was bitterness at losses, or frustration with changed policies but No one can match the "presence" of our Clintons. The legacy of "ME" continues.

It is sufficating.

Huh? Conservatives are bad people because they noticed that Hillary had a book ghost written for her? Didn't she advertise? How can she bring notoriety to the book by advertising, and then find fault with people for noticing that she and her filandering husband are still on the public stage?

Perhaps her reception would have been warmer if she had chosen to tell the truth rather than going on that she didn't have an incling of her husband's affairs. I think people of all political leanings find that one hard to believe.

Wouldn't THAT have been a cool book? She has a fascinating story to tell - unfortunately, she won't tell it.

Here I am trying to take Dems's advice and put the Clintons out of my mind by watching a little TV. Ooops.... there's Hillary signing books on CNN..... there's Hillary signing books on CSPAN..... there's Hillary giving interviews to Charlie Rose on PBS.... and to Baba Wawa on ABC reruns... oh, and here are the clips of the interview with cheerleader Couric on NBC.

Let me see what else is on.... oh, gee, there's Bill with Larry King and on PBS also. I guess I'll watch BET... oh, he's on there too. Time for a DVD!

You mean your TV actually gets something besides FOXNEWS!?!?! I'm shocked and aghast.

You're right dems. The right wingers keep bringing up Clinton three years after he has been out of office. Nobody seems to remember that Babs Bush has a ghostwritten book, and at least one other Bushie has a tell-all book coming out. The folks on this board seem to have a huge h@rd-on for the Clintons. I'm no psychologist but it must mean something...

Maybe it is to keep our attention away from this administration's impotence.

The Clinton's keep bringing up the Clinton's. They both crave attention and keep putting themselves in the spotlight. Why can't they just go away?

But they know the right wingers will keep talking about them, so they try to stay in the spotlight... Hopefully Bush will do something (good or bad) so republicans can start talking about their own guy again.

I'm wondering how Democrats would be reacting if any former Republican presidents kept themselves in the media spotlight. Suppose Ronald Reagan decided to put out a book called "Iran Contra Memoirs", or if George Bush came out with "From Desertshield to Beyond"

Somehow I don't think they'd sit there with their hands folded neatly on their lap, quietly smiling, and going about their business. Kind of how they expect the Republicans to react.

No, I rather think the reaction would be at least an order of magnitude more shrill and indignant than anything the "right-wingers" have said or done.

The fact of the matter is, the Clintons, former president and current Senator, are in the news. To rail against "right wingers who keep talking about them" is ludicrous. They are in the news.

And besides, don't you democrats pride yourselves on your first amendment and freedom of speech and expression advocasy??

JLab, I feel your pain. If someone I had voted for had behaved as the Clinton's have behaved, I wouldn't want anyone to mention it either.

Bill Clinton gets more media attention than any other former President has ever done. Hillary gets more media attention than any NY Senator has ever done. So I will suggest to you that the obsession with the Clintons lies with the media, not the conservatives.

After all, WE'RE not the ones sticking them on every talk show across the dial. WE'RE not the ones who are promoting her book endlessly. WE'RE not the ones that think Bill Clinton has anything intelligent to say about our current events.

You Democrats are half crazy - but we knew that when ya'll voted for Al Gore. When the media blows the Jessica Lynch rescue out of proportion, DemsforMD comes on here and says it's BUSH who saying those things. When we on this board call liberals unpatriotic, ST comes on and blames BUSH for saying it.
Hillary's always been on more women than she has been on Bill.

You know, you flakes would have a lot more credibility if you'd just admit that the Clintons are lying crooks instead of trying to blame everything they do on the Republicans.

Don't go cluing em in, Vrai, as long as the spotlight is on the Clintons, the democratic party will stay in disarray.

No Right wing conspiracy..just general revulsion.

Notice the media even digging up the old Gore rerun for Sat Night Live last week? Coincidence? Hardly.

The execs realized that their hard edge reporting has damaged their pals so now it is time to rebuild the Dem image...it is crucial for ratings. Who would watch an election if its totally lopsided??? Better to close the gap and make it intense!!

Lesson's from the Reality programs...if you bring intriguing-adversarial..shifty characters to the last episode...the ratings soar.

So...they rebuild the Dems image...not for the policies, not for the information... not for the competition of ideas--just for the ratings.

Wow, disparaging one conspiracy theory with another. What a concept.
