In the Market

I wish I could visualize better. Really nice bike, but wonder if I would ruin it with bags, back rest (may need a different style seat) and a windshield.

Beautiful bike. Often makes me wonder why they are selling them.

I'd be afraid to ride that one. I think he built it for show. I just put it here because I thought it was purdy.

I called and talked to the guy. Built from scratch, ground up. He did not recommend it for me as I know nothing about working on them and it would be hard to find a 'fixer' for it since it's all custom.

Onward.

That's what it looks and sounds like. Not a HD motor, not a HD frame. I wonder why he even calls it a Harley?

You do know that some people ride for reason completely unrelated to what "chicks dig", right?

(And no, I don't have those stickers on my DL650, in fact, it has very few stickers, even the factory ones are mostly gone)

:whoosh:

You too could be cool with a little help from your friends.......

Picked it up Tuesday. Here is a picture of it in my driveway. I prefer without the back rest which is how I have it now.

Limited Edition and mine is number 258 out of 300 made

Very nice, but where is the gun/bow rack?

I've thought about it for years and am finally in the market for a new bike. I want a cruiser / touring style that will be comfortable for me and the Mrs. Had my mind set on a Suzuki C90, but they don't make those any longer so then figured on a C109RT, but talking to Atlantic Power and Cycle...they can't even order them. WTF?
Not real familiar with the dealerships in the area or what other make/model may be similar, but the 0% financing through Suzuki was a powerful attractant.
Oh well, onward in my search.
Suggestions welcome.

Now that it's too late, nice bike! Had I seen this in time, I would have asked how the bike would get used. For sure, you chose more cruise and less tour.

Yes Sir. I have no real desire to do long haul, cross country stuff, but more day to day, to and from work and fun rides on the weekends. I took it "up town" today and did the beltway and BW Parkway which was a lot of fun. Picked it up Tuesday with 4 miles on it and it now has 475. :) It's a pleasure to ride and I'm very happy with my choice.

I've heard a set of motorcycle tires can last upwards of 20,000 miles on one of those..

While on a recent trip to Seattle, I saw in a Boeing company parking lot, the most customized Victory bike yet. Was Ironman themed, red and gold, the whole bike. And it wasnt the one Tom Arnold was involved with. This one had the Ironman mask engraved on the sprocket cover, the butt ends of the handgrips were gold, it was crazy, seemed like every single part of that bike was done over in the theme.
