Indestructible Dog Toys

I bought some kind of bones from Pepper's in Solomon's and they are the only bones my destroyer dogs don't destroy and can't chew up entirely. They are some kind of marrow bones and they come with filling in them, but I have to take it out because it gives the dogs diahhrea. So, I just scoop the stuff out and give the dogs the bones. They love the bones. I've had them now for about 4-5 months and will have them for that much longer. I have a boxer/pit bull mix, a lab/hound mix, a terrier mix and a german shephard/lab mix.

these bones are Awesome! they are the only ones my dogs can't destroy. I buy the ones without filling. Bought some in PA, but they are not anything like the ones from Peppers.

jolly balls are good, you can most likely get them from any tack store, the southern states in Charlotte hall should be able to order them, thats where i got mine, my dogs cant get over how fun they are and since their made for horses they're harder the destroy hopes this helps

Don't laugh but this is a beagle who destroys everything. Okay, now that you are finished laughing, I have thought about the tire but, am afraid he will chew to the wires. Rope toys last 5-10 minutes. Nylon bones and Kong toys 15-20 if I'm lucky. I will not give a dog a rock. Have bought marrow bones from Nicks and they do last however, after the first day they stink. I have at least 7 of them laying around (I boiled them to get all of the marrow out along with the stench). He will chew on the clean bones once in awhile but not for long. I never leave any toys laying around. I always supervise because I don't want him or any of the other dogs to swallow any of the remnants. I will try the everlasting fun ball but am not convinced anything is everlasting.

They make mini dog tires now. I have a JRT that has destroyed every toy I have ever bought her 'cept this mini tire.

So many people come to me looking for heavy duty toys. I may have to look into carrying them.

I have English Bulldogs & they tend to do a number on most toys. I have one girl that has demolished most of the so called "indestructible toys". The only thing that I have found that works for her are the Galileo bones that are made by Nylabone.

I have an English Bulldog and she has never destroyed a Kong.

Here are pics, before and after of my dog with his toy that he really loves. It's even been buried in the back yard and dug up again. He's had it for about 4 months and cost all of 3 bucks.

Not that it sounds like it will help most of you. But I have noticed with mine is that if I get her the toys that crinkle and squeak, she wont tear those up.

Lucky You :) We've had to toss out Kong toys too with certain dogs. I guess as with anything, it depends on the actual dog since none of them are exactly alike regardless of breed. I know that first hand with the bulldogs.

You're right! They do have very strong jaws... I guess mine just doesn't chew it that much. Maybe because it doesn't smell like bacon... She has shredded just about any rawhide I've given her... Except the one I got last night for her. She actually took her time gnawing on it and it lasted a while.

How many do you have? Ages?

I'd like to get another Bulldog - but my friend also has a Bulldog and they tend to give each other the evil eye... Clash of the Alphas I guess...

The jolly balls are also available at Canter-Lope tack in Callaway.

My dog had one of those big rope toys with the knots on the end, (these seem to last awhile) he loves to swing it around and throw it up in the air and catch it, this was great until he flung it at me while I was asleep, hit me right in the eye. No more toys while I'm asleep.

Those last a long time for us, also. Rassie is the big chewer, Yoda just plays. I just bought the Kong things that you fill with peanut butter or whatever - Rassie is working on destroying hers. I worry about the rope toy, though, with the t.v. I've seen Yoda launch it hard and fast.
