Edward T. Hall Aquatics Center
Do you know if this is a private business or a county funded project?
Another perfect example of government run amok. Sure its a nice facility. Beautiful in fact. But funded with tax dollars. Why in heavens name do the County Commissioners believe this to be a wise use of limited tax resources? Here is a novel idea....How about returning this cost in the form of property tax rebates and if there is a need for an aquatic center....then let some private company build it and charge admission. It is this concept that is really unbelievable. This is why govt is out of control. They stray from their core mission.
It was built in response to many, many county citizens requesting (quite vociferously) for the last twenty years, through multiple Boards of County Commissioners, that such a facility for the use of county citizens be built. Where were you?
Is that place going to get greasy, like the one on Great Mills Rd.?

They have to pay the 15 million dollar price tag somehow!!!
Hope everyone enjoys swallowing a bunch of pee!!!![]()
Toddlers and infants should NOT be allowed in public pools. Period.
Pee cures athletes feet and other ailments... think worse than pee... that ain't no baby ruth making its rounds in the lazy river.I pee in public pools and I am not a toddler nor infant....
