I was just watching IndyCar Central on Versus (Lindy Thackston
) and they said the IRL will not be returning to Richmond International Raceway in 2010. Brian Barnhart says the league is trying to get something for Milwaukee in 2011, but has no interest in returning to Richmond or racing down at Danville.
The Richmond race usually drew some of the largest crowds the series has ever seen. Totally sucks, now the closest IndyCar race is ####ing 9 hours away.
So all of you who enjoyed the Indy races there, be glad you did because the Indy Racing League just thanked you for your support by sticking their middle finger up at you.
