I wonder if OP ever thought that their benign request would turn into all this.

No worries, OP - I'm tickled to have Stinkpen exposed for the ghoulish fraud she is.

Go sleep it off blondie..you have no idea what you are talking about or who...

Nitty nite to all of you fricken drunks out there. Go save a kitten,

Ack. I have more saved kittens than I ever wanted. Kiki was supposed to be the end of my catmania, then along came Gidgie.

:jameo:

But I will give it up for Cattitude, who isn't a psycho attention whore like Stinkpen, and genuinely loves animals and wants to do right by them. :yay:

Catt! Catt! :thewave:

Is the Wally white cat thread here anymore? Just curious, cause I actually don't want to read it.

Oh come on Ink! I'd call the very SAME people the OP called. Oh wait... it's a weekend, they aren't there. Poor kitty. Poor dead kitty. Even if I got her off the driveway. :bawl:

Oh wait...for ME... doing nothing is better. Yet make the OP and others feel like #### for not helping??? Ok then. wow.

We all know that if we saw a human being lying out there on the sidewalk we would have had no problem running to them to help. At least those of us with part of a heart. But letting that poor animal lay out there in that frigid air and rain for 4 hours is just inhumane. I don't understand how you guys cannot see that. Even picking her up, taking all precautions and putting her in the house in a crate or a closed box with breathing holes would have been better than leaving her laying there for hours on end. Then you call someone for help and help comes and takes her to get care or takes care of her and at least gives her a chance to warm up and see if she is viable. She has no outward signs of wounds. What makes you all think she is going to die? She may just be really cold and a little sick. If she is just a little sick she will at least be warm until she can be vetted. I don't know, seems simple to me...

That is not true... people may remember the thread I started about a woman that collapsed in front of me in the parking lot of my office building. People walked by me and didn't even bother to help me. I was on the cell phone with 911 in one hand and trying to turn her on her side with the other so she wouldn't swallow her tongue if it was a seizure.... I kept loosing signal and the dispatcher was having a hard time understanding I was at the Smallwood Building and not on Smallwood Drive.... I later learned it was her appendix but it wasn't until a mere minute or two before the medic got there that somebody came to help me. And when I say people walked by, looked over and kept on walking, I am not kidding.... I felt completely invisible and I know people worry about liability and also don't do well in emergency situations or even feel shocked to witness it all... but it happens... Who knows why I just happened to be in the parking lot at the same exact time this woman collapsed. Maybe it was a sign of some sort because at the time I was more concerned about what went on in the http world than anything else and needed a shock back into reality??? Who knows! but... Mouse, I swear you just don't get it and neither does Ink.... so she went to get the kitty... that is great but don't come here and complain and blast others because she choose to do what she did.

Now, how would it have looked had emergency personal gotten there and I was screaming at the rubber neckers and telling them they all suck for not helping... What if you panicked? What if you just arrived? How would I have looked? Like a nut? I would think so!

I do remember that post, and I also said people with part of a heart would help. You did your good deed for the day. You should be proud of yourself. I was, and never once called you names or said you were a lunatic or anything like that for doing so. The point of the matter is most people have more feelings for humans and nothing else. That poor kitty was suffering just like that lady and needed someone to call an animal 911 for her. It's not like she could pick up a phone and call for help.

Isnt fair?

3 pages of chatter and no one bothered to go and help?
I had no idea where to go and I lost my driving glasses!!!
But I called and got directions,,,,and got the cat.

I am just pissed that this poor cat had to suffer and no one bothered to get there and act......
I have to get back to this cat.....I may post a summary...
OK, I read the entire thread and here's my offer.

Tell ya what Stinky, Next time there's a case like this, you email me, PM me do anything you can to contact me.

I'll jump in my truck and drive up to 50 miles one way to yell "PULL" just before I throw the animal in the air and blow it away with a 12 gauge load of #2 shot you self-righteous, sanctimonious b!tch.

Teamwork baby!! :yahoo:

You pathetic drunk!

In My Opinion
last time I had an injured cat show up on the property I was in Virginia Beach.
damn cat cost me a few hundred dollars in vet bills, then another 10 years of litter and food till it finally died from old age.

of course, looking back at it now, it was a better p*$$% to have in the house than my ex was.

Ya know ink, not to be mean, but you really should have taken that cat to the emergency vet where it could be properly examined and a determination could be made as far as its health status. It may make you feel better that you've taken it in and warmed it up, but it is cruel to prolong the agony of an animal. You say that you are an animal welfare advocate, so you should know that even with as much training as you have, you are still not a veterinarian and cannot possibly assess what is wrong with this cat. You jump all over everyone else for not doing what they should for this cat, but you really aren't doing what you should be for this animal either.

So what is the status of the cat right now? Do we know? Still there? Somebody cap it? I'm too lazy to read all thru this tread

Ok, I just read this WHOLE tread

And here's what I've learned:

- There's a sense of irony in a cat thread that is a perpetual cat fight.

- Even though it's a 17 hour drive, I am obligated to drive it to help a cold pussy when before I would barely drive 5 hours for a warm one :coffee:

- Vrai is even sexier when she's mad

- There are MASH units for cats.

- That Buddly Lee and Jetmonkey crack me up

- This "Inkpen" appears to be mentally unstable

- Sharon is a good kisser. Sorry 2A, don't hurt me

- Christy's Avatar is very unflattering, but I still love her

And that after 20 effin pages, I still don't know if the cat is alive or dead, warm or cold, wet or dry, etc, etc :banghead:
