Until I clicked the Motovation link ,I thought you were referring to the Motovation Cycles shop in Charlotte Hall. Great guys up there working on all Metric Cycles.
I have been very happy with their work.

APS, don't taze us bro! Why does it say "Harleys; making men into boys since 1918"? Most of us "boys" grew up on rice then went to Harleys, not the other way around. When you grow up, you move up. To a Harley. It's only natural dude! :lmao: :yay:

I didn't much like that one, Why 1918 instead of 1903?
I think the intent is to say most Harley riders are just big kids that like shiney stuff

In my case I disagree. My first road bike was a Harley, bought it when I was 16. While I subscribe to the notion that when it comes to bikes "it's all good!" , personally Harleys just aren't my cup of tea. Rather than ride something with 150db and 80 hp I'd rather have it the other way around!

That said, it a Harley comes by with a nice throaty rumble instead of a blat that sounds like one continuous fart I stop what I'm doing and admire the bike, and respect the rider that chose discretion over noise.

One more thing, with a 27" seat, when you move to a Harley you usually move....down.

I don't know your age but, when I was 16 (in 1970), Harleys were AMF junk. Today they are much nicer and don't "mark their territory" like they used to. Some HD's are obnoxiously loud and I don't like that. Mine is loud but not obnoxious BUT I don't like the sound that rice makes coming out of the tailpipes. (Chainsaw sound). :lmao: Ride safe! :yay:

I agree, several of the Harleys I owned were AMF, the others were pre-AMF. The technology hasn't changed much since then, but thankfully the QC is much better. I wish I still had my 1977 XLCR though! I bought it new on my 16th birthday for a princely sum of $2700. I've probably had some 60-70 motorcycles since then but I still wonder whatever happened to that bike.

I agree with you that the bumblebee sound isn't the best but right now I have three twin cylinder bikes, my daily driver and track day weapon is a V-twin. It has a pretty good sound, I think even you'd like it!!

I used to. I owned a Honda 350 :)lmao:), 3 Yamaha's 750 & 850, A Suzuki and my last rice bike was a Yamaha Dresser 1300 which I took to Fla & Mrytle Beach TWICE. Got my first Harley in 1999 and my second one in 2001. I ride as much as possible now. My car gets little use in the summer. (Just wish the ladies wanted to ride as much as they did in the 80's). :yay:

 Sure it has, from basic metalurgy, the transmissions, fuel injection and the new ones have electronic throttles.
What hasn't changed is the look
