Hopefully she likes her new car better.
What makes you think she can get a new car? Most insurances would only give her the value of the absolute cheapest possible equivalent used car. She will be lucky to end up only a few grand out of pocket to get back what she had.

What makes you think she can't?

Why do you think she doesn't have sufficient coverage, GAP or cash onhand to buy new?

You forgot Ignorance and Assumption :rolleyes:

No, I said that as a joke and mostly I didn't want a long drawn out response to Kyle's stupid response. GAP INSURANCE pays the gap in what you owe vs what the car is worth, it doesn't pay the difference between what the market value of the car and a new car (unless your car was basically brand new).

It doesn't matter how much coverage you have, insurances pay market rate for your totaled vehicle unless you have a special program like "new car replacement coverage" which most people do not have. And having "sufficient cash on hand" as Kyle suggested doesn't disprove my point that this person would be out of pocket to buy a new car.

So my point, that this person will most likely not get a new car without being at least a little out of pocket is a more likely assumption than PrchJrkr's assumption that they will automatically get a new car because someone stole and totaled theirs.

And in true Kyle fashion he decides to suck PrchJrkr's ass like in my profile picture rather than think about his response.

And PS... If the cars under 2 years old, you can get insurance to cover the gap between your vehicle and new.

If you only knew as much as you think you do.... About ANY subject. :lmao:

I am thankful to finally see the dash-cam footage because, judging by the skid marks alone, I had suspected a PIT maneuver was performed on the perpetrator.

I am grateful to see it was entirely driver error, and no fault of the Po-Po. Good job Chucksters!

As for the perp, play lethal games, win lethal prizes.

Take this next time Boo.---->🚑

I went to school, 1-8th grade, with the smartest kid in the world. Yeah, sure, he went to summer school 6 of those 8 grades, then to a trade school in 9th, but he was the smartest kid in history. Now, 70, he's the smartest man in history....

the world will never know....
I'm not 70, damit!

Maybe I should've used the word "next" instead of "new", new being a subjective word and all. I just simply wish the best for this poor women caught up in the middle of a senseless crime. I'm sick and tired of these animals committing crime and not being sufficiently punished. Not this one! 😆

It's no wonder I find less and less time to read/post anymore. Being miserable 24/7/365 must suck moose ****.
