There is still Metrocast around here? Please don't bellyache. I live in Charles and have NO options other than a MiFi from AT&T. Verizon Jet Pack does not work at all here. We could get Hughesnet but I have heard horror stories and am not confident they can deliver better speeds than we are getting with the MiFi. No cable, no DSL, no FIOS, nothing other than dial up otherwise. Count your blessings. I do however live close in, a rural feeling area, space to breathe and no pop up development happening around me so I will take what I have and be happy with it! I can leave my car doors unlocked and sleep peacefully so it's worth the sacrifice!

I agree. I have metrocast and have had only minor issues in the past that were corrected promptly. And I am also one of those that can get nothing else. I have had Verizon DSL and its slow compared to Metrocast....
