Ipod Nano vs. washing machine

so my relatively new ipod nano ( bought in feb.) took a splash in the washing machine yesterday. I figured I would never be able to bring it back to life but attempted anyways. So, I went and blow dried it on low for about five minutes. I propped it upright and let the water drain out of it over night. I decided to pop the ipod in to the comp this morning after going to the gym..and the screen comes on! Fabulous right?!?! Well, the pixels are damaged...most likely from the detergent. As soon as I disconnected it...the ipod shut off, so I don't know it is retaining any of its charge....maybe I'll let it dry some more. Anyways, wish me luck this is now the second one I have gone through in less than 8 months!

i'm going to take it and put it in the glove box of the car for a few days. Its not retaining battery life. Which sucks but everything works on it.... so I dunno maybe the battery is still damp? Pretty amazing it even turns on!

Your battery is probably dead. It is a relative easy thing to replace. Go on ebay, get a kit with battery, and repair if for about $10 instead of buying a new one.

Why not get one big enough to see?
Washing them sounds expensive.
