Is Thompson's going out of business?

I think it is one of those prepackaged sale events where they buy all these flyer's with official sounding terms and slogans, stick them up all over and sell off all the old stagnant stuff that has been in there for years.

i was never impressed with the place

Thompson's is like the old Raley's in Waldorf. Montgomery Ward throw-aways that they sell as "designer".
