It wasn't in the same breath... as a matter of fact "an eye for an eye" was in the old Testament. That's when God was teaching humans how to live with one another under the law.

Turn the other cheek is from the New Testament.... Jesus said it... because Jesus taught love and peace....

This is a really really old thread.... but hey... the discussion may still be fun.... lol

After reading Judges and Kings.... yup....

I think it's more likely that the nuclear option would be the last thing anyone would try. There will be planes brought down first.... and those patriot missiles will get a work out first.... but I'm wondering just what kind of natural disaster will stop the destruction of Israel.... Will the world have a longer day? Will there be an earthquake or hailstorm? Maybe a mysterious sleeping sickness will come over those who would run the war.

I expect something natural to occur that will have the "hand of God" written all over it... so no one with any sense can truthfully deny it.
