I've ruined the drawstring on two pairs of sweats for that same reason, take a pair of scissors and snip!

I can relate!! I have several pairs of capris that are about to be tossed just for that reason!!

No problems like that here. I have no hips or butt - I can pretty much slip off any pants without unbutton/unzipping. It more of a curse than a blessing. Except for the urgent peeing part.
