Progs always go, "Oh, Elon Musk is the President now! You all do what Elon says!"
No, tards.
It's always been about Trump. Who Trump picks for certain jobs is important, but if those folks go off the reservation and/or get gone MAGA doesn't really care.

My understanding is that Musk, like Rand Paul, are against the BBB because there's too much spending and not enough cutting. I almost certainly agree with that, but I also understand that there needs to be compromise. If the GOP goes scorched earth with spending cuts, they'll never - ever - get it passed. This is my problem with Rand Paul, who I do admire - he's an idealist and not a realist. Surely he understands how all this works, but time and again he goes to the mat over unrealistic principles.
Just like his dear old dad, all "Abolish the IRS and replace it with nothing." Yeah, you can't do that. You can overhaul the IRS and enforce waste/fraud oversight, but someone has to be the tax collector. If you abolish the IRS, there will still be an entity that deals with tax collection regardless of what you decide to call it.
