To put the heated gear in the topcase.

Not COLD tonight, but in the vented jacket was a little chilly coming home at 10PM..

Now's the hard part. Will want the vented jacket for daytime rides, but would want the AST for when the sun goes down.. TOO much stuff to keep in the box(es)

Bob, if you cant hold enough gear in that bike, time for a car:) Me, I try to ride to night classes as much as possible. Being a New England boy, its al about layers. Windstop, plus air trappers for insulation. I keep my meshes innner liner handy, add a sweatshirt for insulation, and I'm good down to about 50. ig thing for me is the gauntlets. Them suckers make a huge difference.

Yesterday was probably last ride with the windshield off.

It'll be interesting to see how long my cortech gx sport works out. Great jacket, lotta vents for now, closes down good plus liner.

+1 on the gauntlets. I found some hunting gloves at cabella's I might get.

Got to buy some heated gear this year.

Best money I've spent yet for the bike.

Rode to Morton's last winter it was about 40 (and I would assume real humid). I dressed like I have in past winters.. Mesh Jacket with liner, sweatshirt, pants with liners, winter gloves.. and when i got there I couldn't warm back up. I was cold to the core. I walked around for about an hour and thinking of the ride home I bought the jacket.

I was wearing my vented jacket (not the preferred jacket to wear) with the Gerbings liner under, and the ride home I was toasty. Never felt the cold, and when I got off the bike at home there was no warming up needed.

Now I have a windproof jacket that I wear over the liner, and I don't think I've ever been over 1/4 way up on the rheostat and have never felt the cold.

Now this winter I just need to wire the tractor for it too.

Which temp control did you get with it and did it hook straight to your battery?

I have everything go through a centech fuse block.. Connector sticks up just in front of my seat. On the tractor I'll have it come straight off of the battery. The way back from Fredricksburg I had it plugged into the accesory socket, but that was just a mess of dangling wires.

I have the dual controller for glove liners and the jacket, though I can't find gloves to fit over the glove liners.
