The first two -
Prissy and
Casey, are a brother/sister pair, at 9 years old they still love to play but also cuddle up and watch a movie with you. They are currently located in Anne Arundel county but may be coming to a foster home in St. Mary's in the next week. They are house and crate trained and have already been spayed/neutered. (They need to go to a home together)
The little white one is
Snoop, an 11 month old Maltese (with a bad hair day). When he was pulled from the shelter he was covered in mats, had never been combed or brushed. He's crate trained and semi house trained. Gets along with other dogs both big and small, of course he has no idea how small he is (Napolean Syndrom).
We are sorry but none of these three dogs can be placed in homes w/small children, as Prissy and Casey have never lived with them, and Snoop's attitude is too big!
The next dog is
Jasper, he's an 8 yr old Shih Tzu mix, great uncomplicated dog that is just a very easy going guy!
Talking about small dogs, meet
Nikki and
Donnie - they are both 10 years old, appear to be house trained and they are crate trained. Donnie is very devoted to Nikki, they have spent their entire lives together (until their owner left them at HSCC since they didn't want them anymore), when I saw them at TriCounty, they were confused and scared, not quite sure what was going on, but once I picked up Nikki and she wasn't shaking and acting terrified but instead curled up for a hug, I knew I had to bring them home. Donnie was concerned and didn't want to be held until he could see Nikki and know she was safe. They will need to go to a home together once they get to a vet and get their dentals! (again a home w/no small children)
