Have you tried handing the child a piece of lemon to bite upon. I did this with the oldest child (way back in the late 70s). They usually stop after chomping down once on a chunk and the expression is priceless (have the camera ready).

The little shiat likes lemons, so this doesn't work.

She loves loud noises, so barking at her would probably cause more bites.
I do like the muzzle idea.
The baby scratches the inside of her ears when she gets tired, so there are little scabs in there. I thought about getting her a wrestling helmet so she can't scratch in there anymore. That and the muzzle should almost do it, other than possibly wrapping her in bubble wrap to help with breaking her falls.
:lmao:

Erin,

I know it sounds mean and I tried to stay away from biting back too. They don't realize that biting hurts. We nibble on them all the time playfully, so they think it's OK. Next time, chomp down enough to make the baby's expression change. They understand pretty quick after that. I think I might have had to do it twice.
