Jack Russell any advice?

Anyone have any advice on potty training a jack russell? I love my little dog but my house is starting to stink!!!!! I take her out as often as I can and she does nothing, then comes in and does nothing for a while and then bam! I step in a wet spot! I bought those training pads and she does go on those at times. She is crated during the day but she even goes in her crate!

Any advice would be helpful

Before you crate her for the day, take her for a long walk (20-30 minutes) and then another walk as soon as you get home. That should give her a chance to do most of her business outside and start setting some habits for her.

Get rid of it and get a real dog, not a cat trying to be a dog. Maybe a lab, spaniel or GSD.

My Jack Russell is a big dog in a small package. He lets me know when any person or animal is within 1/2 mile of my house. He is very loving to the boys and to the boy's stuffed animals. He is very smart, if his water bowl or food bowl is empty, he stands there and barks.

I love my jack russell! She is the sweetest thing ever!

She also thinks she is a pitbull!!!!

She is also very smart! We have one of those metal crates for her and one thing she does is, if she poops in the cage, she will take her paw and smack it out on the carpet so she doesn't have to sit in there with it! Doesn't make me too happy but very smart for her!
