Okay.... One last time... Listen to the Police when they are trying to get control of a situation and you don't get shocked. Resist and pay the piper...

Add drugs to the equation and all bets are off. I've seen one man fight off five full size male cops. Sometimes it takes more than just a strong man. That's what the taser gives them, and it is less deadly than their night stick, fists, maglight, or gun.

Agreed. I experienced it first hand. Back in the late 70's my friend was a PG cop and I went on a ride along with him. We went to this house in Clinton by Tanglewood park for a disorderly person. We encountered the guy about 5'8" 140lbs and he was tough for his size. My friend and another cop were hitting him with their night stick but it didn't faze him. Finally the three of us got him to the ground and cuffed him. By the way, I'm all for tasers. The drugs had nothing to do with his heart stopping I'm sure. RIGHT!

Kind of splitting hairs aren't you? The cops don't need to be getting injured while trying to subdue a criminal. That would make them kind of useless at that point.

All police officers get tasered! Some I know 2 or 3 x. They all get tased as part of the training in the LESS than lehthal weapon.

Try some objective sources.
